Giving the Heart Symbol “Love” More Meaning

The Shape of Love

The heart symbol is well known, of course, why, it symbolizes love! When you like a post on Facebook, one of the options is: ❤️.  If you don’t have it as one of your frequently used emoji’s you can get it by searching the emoji finder, just type “love”.

So in my life, I’ve seen a few relationships, some not so serious, and some where they got married. What is higher than that,  eh?

BUT! often in ALL the relationships I’ve seen…

They do wish:

to kill each other 🤔.

Yes, that is a sign of true love, though.

Here, take a look at this picture:

I have drawn a heart, but on the path which forms it, I added arrows. Starting at the top point, the paths start to separate!

Oh NO!

BUT! keep on following the paths… and they meet again, way at the bottom poin (perhaps something in the past)?

Even if you seperate from each other, you both might come back.

Now here’s the opposite, can you guess what I intend to say? Here’s another heart:

This time, the paths converge at the top.. Let’s add some drama and say the bottom point is the devine destiny of your relationship, it was decided before you were even born.  Then! as if by magic:

they meet up, somehow,

sometime,

in some PERFECT way..  and that is why you are in a relationship.

But another meaning could be:

Even if you separate for the day, to go to work, and not be together, you come home at the end of the day.

Because you are with other people, and have separate lives, if you work on the love for those around you… all love grows.

Why do have to be separate for a while, why can’t we just be together all the time?

I’ll quote Kahlil Gibran from his book:

Version 1.0.0

When the prophet when asked about love he had this to say:

When you are in love, drink together, but not from the same cup.

– something like that

The meaning I decided on was: yea, you can love each other BUT! your lives should not be completely identical.

With such differences the doors to better .. better..

  • collaboration
  • co-operations
  • perception / perspectives

Individuals, together, interdependant.

Unique self-images in love.

Also, read the book, it’s quite powerful.

Add it to your Tool Belt, Sow it to your Subconscious mind

So now you can help a couple save a relationship with this added meaning to the simple heart icon. We have given it more meaning, better than the way we found it!

I have made some games for couples to play as well, or ways to show love look for my post about PRAISING your lover’s INTUTION.

I’d also like to write about Jay Shetty’s idea, the “5 E’s” of love,

A.I. says: The concept of the “5 E’s of Love” refers to <class=””>Jay Shetty’s framework for building intimacy and connection in a relationship, consisting of Experiments, Experiences, Education, Engagement, and Entertainment. These elements provide ways for couples to actively create connection, learn about each other, and foster growth within their relationship.

I agree with that thought, as you can see the similarities on this here blog. To me it’s about growing, learning, applying.. contributing to the world,

not just physical stuff.
