What is CBT or (B.E.T.S. Method)

Ideas change your life when applied.

We use the B.E.T.S. method, based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):

  • Thoughts
  • Emotions
  • Behaviors
  • Self-image

These are all interconnected.

The core postulate of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is that an individual’s thoughts (cognitions), emotions (feelings), and behaviors (actions) are interconnected and constantly influence each other. This framework, often called the “cognitive triangle” or “cognitive model,” posits that changing one component can trigger a chain reaction that modifies the others.

The only difference between CBT and BETS is I hav added Self-Image. Self-image is the most important, because you cannot perform better than your self-image. A kid was failing school, he just accepted he was an F student. Once personality work was done he now believed he was an A+ student. The results were in the report card. Helping people build personality / their S-image can be a service.

Example 1 Core idea:
“Our thoughts shape our character.” — As a Man Thinketh

Experiment: Two Mindsets

Think of two “mental gardens.”

🌸 Beautiful Flowers

  • Thought: “I’ve got my ‘make a friend’ hat on today.”
  • Behavior: Engages in small talk for enjoyment
  • Emotion: How do you feel thinking this?

🌿 Ugly Weeds

  • Thought: “People will put me down. I expect it.”
  • Emotion: Anger, fear
  • Behavior: Tense body language, fight-or-flight responses

How would you like your life to be? which Self-Image will you pick? Your self-image determines your whole life, so choose wisely.

Self-image: Beautiful Flowers A friendly person who enjoys connecting

Self-image: Ugly Weeds Defensive, expecting negativity

Look at the difference in the emotions, one is positive, one is not. Same situation, seeing someone you do not know.

And why would you feel that way?

Well, because of your thoughts and behavior. And your self-image!

How to try BETS

Think: It is mandatory to respect a higher ranking officer

Behavior: Soldier Salute.

Emotion: how do you feel?

Test: Can you get someone to salute you?

What is that thought, what are those emotion?

Now try setting up two other corners, and see how the third one naturally occurs.

In the FB group I share how I use BETS collaboratively. Together we can cause other people to experience new things!

This is how to use CBT(BETS):

We will choose the goal of having more money. And get help from “The Billionaire Braine Wave audio”

Your Behavior is to do something that will help you get rich.

Your Emotion is faith, belief that this BBW will help you get rich

So when these two are set, Your thought becomes:

I am getting rich.

Have you ever heard the expression “It’s the thought that counts?”

Now that you have this thought, you can let it sink into your subconscious mind. How? by feeling it.

Your Thought is “I am getting rich.”

Your Behavior is: “I am using the BBW to get rich”

So when these two are set, Your Emotion becomes:

I am getting richer.

Now that you feel this way, your subconscious has received your request.

So your new Self-Image is:

I am a person who is actively looking for ways to become wealthy

Now what you can do is this: Give your new self-image a name.

Name: ____________________

Next, pick something in your home that you see everyday.

From now on, whenever you see that item, say to yourself:

” Name: ____________________ Is a wealthy person who always sees opportunities to get rich. “
